St George's Church office is located inside the Crosby One Community Centre, Digby Street, Scunthorpe and is open on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am to 11.30am.
If you would like to make arrangements for a Baptism, Wedding (including reading of Banns) or Blessing of Marriage/Civil Partnership, please visit us on a Wednesday morning. No appointment necessary.
If you would like to hold a funeral service at St George's, prior to burial or cremation, this can be arranged through your chosen Funeral Director. Alternatively, you can hold a service of remembrance on a date after the funeral by contacting us.
If you are unable to visit the office on a Wednesday morning you are welcome to contact us through the contact page on this website and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
IT'S PANTOMIME TIME
The Knights of St George will be performing Mother Goose in church on the following dates:
Thursday 30th January - 7.30 pm
Friday 31st January - 7.30 pm
Saturday 1st February - 7.30 pm
All Thursday tickets £3.00, Friday and Saturday tickets are £4.00 adults, £3.00 kids.
This is the 27th year that a community pantomime has been performed by the The Knights of St George and we hope to see you.
The Nave area of St George's Church is now available for hire for meetings, functions, workshops, concerts and performances. A large open space, the Nave can seat 100+ people and can be arranged to accommodate more for bigger events.
St George's Church has a fully equipped, modern kitchen for serving snacks and refreshments, which can be included in the hire.
