St George's Church office is located inside the Crosby One Community Centre, Digby Street, Scunthorpe and is open on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am to 11.30am.

If you would like to make arrangements for a Baptism, Wedding (including reading of Banns) or Blessing of Marriage/Civil Partnership, please visit us on a Wednesday morning. No appointment necessary.

If you would like to hold a funeral service at St George's, prior to burial or cremation, this can be arranged through your chosen Funeral Director.  Alternatively, you can hold a service of remembrance on a date after the funeral by contacting us.

If you are unable to visit the office on a Wednesday morning you are welcome to contact us through the contact page on this website and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Due to the ongoing risks associated with public gatherings arising from COVID-19, all public services of worship are on hold at St George's until further notice. Members of the congregation will continue to visit the church at different times during the week to pray for our community.

We plan to continue providing Foodbank support from St George's on a Wednesday afternoon between 1.00pm and 2.30pm, but there will be some significant changes while the Coronavirus outbreak persists.

To protect our volunteers, all distribution will take place from the North Door porch of the church in bags provided by the Foodbank only. There will be no entry to the church and no use of personal bags.

Sadly, it will not be possible to provide refreshments at this time.

The Foodbank continues to ask for donations, particularly of the following items:

Tinned Meat

Rice Pudding

Tinned Custard

Tinned Potatoes

Toilet Roll

The Bishop of Grimsby has announced the appointment of Reverend Julie Wearing as the next Vicar of St George's and the Parish of Crosby.
