St George's Church office is located inside the Crosby One Community Centre, Digby Street, Scunthorpe and is open on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am to 11.30am. (Presently closed due to Covid19)
If you would like to make arrangements for a Baptism, Wedding (including reading of Banns) or Blessing of Marriage/Civil Partnership, please visit us on a Wednesday morning. No appointment necessary.
If you would like to hold a funeral service at St George's, prior to burial or cremation, this can be arranged through your chosen Funeral Director. Alternatively, you can hold a service of remembrance on a date after the funeral by contacting us.
If you are unable to visit the office on a Wednesday morning you are welcome to contact us through the contact page on this website and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
PRAYERS FOR PRINCE PHILIP
On the morning of the day of Prince Philip's funeral (April 17), we will open St George's Church from 10.00am -12.30pm for people to light a candle and offer a prayer for Prince Philip and members of the Royal Family if they would wish to do so. The church bell will also be rung during the hour prior to the funeral ending with the national minute's silence at 3.00pm.
If attending, please remember- HANDS- FACE-SPACE - as no mask, no entry will apply in adherence to Current COVID guidelines

The Nave area of St George's Church is available for hire for meetings, functions, workshops, concerts and performances. A large open space, the Nave can seat 100+ people and can be arranged to accommodate more for bigger events.
St George's Church has a fully equipped, modern kitchen for serving snacks and refreshments, which can be included in the hire.
